Lowther Castle & Gardens Trust is seeking contractors to carry out major landscaping works at Lowther Castle, Penrith, Cumbria.
The works can be described as follows:
Setting out, preparation, formation of levels, removal of debris and make up of Bowling green, Wild Flower Lawn, Bulb meadow, fine lawn, Shrub beds and paths. Estimated earth move 5-7,000 cubic metres; area of lawns and borders 45,000 square metres; area of paths 14,000 square metres.

Completed tenders are to be received by 12 noon Tuesday 12th July 2011 by Zoe Bell at Turner & Townsend, Yorkshire House, Chapel Street, Liverpool L3 9AG. The successful tenderer will have 1 week to mobilise and the intended start on site date is 18th July 2011. The works are to be completed by end of September 2011.
